Music For A Wilderness Lake ~ September 17th, 2022

This September, Stone & Sky presents Canadian composer R. Murray Schafer’s environmental soundscape Music for a Wilderness Lake.  This piece was designed to be played at dawn and dusk around a small, Ontario lake, and is written for 12 trombones.  The dawn performance of this piece will kick off our inaugural Flutter Fest, A Migration Celebration, September 17th & 18th, 2022. In partnership with Pelee Island Cultural Events, we will offer this concert at no fee to the general public as a community celebration of the unique and varied migrations that Fish Point is home to.
